My name is Summer Pouncey and I am 20 years old. I have no children, im single and I love to shop! I am from Gautier, Mississippi and attented Gautier schools all of my life. I graduated from GHS in 2006 and then moved to Starkville, Ms to attend Mississippi State University. After returning home in 2007 I continued my education at MGCCC. Currently I am attending University of Southren Miss and majoring in elementary education. I love to be around children and have a great desire to learn. I started subsitute teaching to get experience being around children. I am looking forward to being a teacher and having a classroom of my own!

Deciding to be a substitute teacher is very wise!! Too often, people finish their degree and step foot in their own classroom and are totally taken aback by the whole experience. I was a TA for 4 years and taught K-4 for 3 years. I'm a sub now. I decided I needed all of the experience I could get LOL!!

Hi Summer and I just LOVE your name. I bet you never have a long winter. I have a few friends living in Gautier and have substituted in the school systems there. I really enjoy teaching the smaller children also, and Gautier has some of the smaller classrooms, and that's a must with smaller children. I wish you lots of success in your teaching career!
